Field Service Technician

A leading company in water and wastewater treatment solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join their team. This role involves working on advanced control panels, diagnosing and troubleshooting systems, and traveling to client sites to ensure top-notch service and operational efficiency. Job Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain control panels for water and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on PLC and HMI systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Conduct testing and calibration of electrical and mechanical components.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system accuracy and efficiency.
  • Train and assist customers on system operations and maintenance.
  • Maintain detailed service records and provide feedback for system improvements.
  • Travel up to 50% to client sites for installations, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Electromechanical Technology or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in control panel assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC and HMI programming and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex schematics and technical drawings.
  • Experience working in water and wastewater treatment applications preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including overnight stays when required.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed

The salary is $35-$45/hr DOE

Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status. Must have a valid driver's license.
